At the MENI SE ROLA! event at the X Center in Nova Gorica in September,

we also held an NFT IN ART workshop. The workshop was led by Mattia Cuttini as an introduction to the basics of NFTs with practical examples and direct interaction. During the workshop, he guided participants through the process of creating a wallet, explained the basic principles of minting, and showed how to publish and manage artworks on the Tezos blockchain using the objkt.com platform.

The workshop combined clear explanations with live demonstrations, allowing participants to understand the process step by step and experiment in real time. Participants were encouraged to ask questions and explore how blockchain-based practices can be incorporated into contemporary art. The workshop offered a concise and accessible overview of the tools and methods artists can use to enter the NFT ecosystem.

MATTIA CUTTINI (1979) is an Italian artist whose interdisciplinary practice is situated at the intersection of graphic design and blockchain technology. Cuttini pursued his education in technology, and later reinvented himself as an artist, using several mediums beyond visual including music and performance art. Started in 1999 with design, in 2017 created a Kickstarter, and in 2018 began with CryptoArt, Cuttini has expanded his practice using artificial intelligence. Cuttini’s work aims to mold the artificial into the natural, and distort or transform the natural into the artificial. Either visual or acoustic, his art practice usually results from a sequence of interventions that vary in complexity. Cuttini’s work has been featured on SuperRare, KnownOrigin, Async Art and Medium. He works and lives in Italy. https://www.mattiac.it/
